Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation
VOM

VOM is an acronym for Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation, which is a non-manual technique of animal chiropractic. This non-invasive healing technology locates vertebral lesions, known in the chiropractic world as subluxations, of an animals nervous system that no longer correctly communicate with the brain and re-establishes that neural communication. Using VOM, a VOM practitioner will find and reduce all neuronal subluxations through the use of a series of manipulations and adjustments. This form of chiropractic care for animals uses the body’s own healing abilities and the relationship between the spine and nervous system to restore and maintain good health. The list of injuries, illnesses and disorders veterinary chiropractic can help is extensive and will continue to expand as more and more pet patients are treated by licensed animal chiropractors.

Don't hesitate to call if you have questions as to whether animal chiropractic could help your pets condition. Most often, VOM coupled with Laser pet care create the perfect treatment for pets and their conditions. Both are non-invasive and effective. To read more about the effects of low level laser therapy, also known as cold laser, please visit the cold laser section of our site, call or stop by our office for some reading materials.
